Gold Points is a rewards discovery platform. We help you find places in Bahrain, from restaurants to electronics stores, gyms and VR arenas, where spending earns you Gold Points, redeemable for physical gold. We are not a financial advisor, an investment platform, or a financial service provider. Nothing on this site should be taken as financial, legal, or tax advice.
To be clear about our role and limits:
No exchange, brokerage, or trading services: Gold Points is not a bullion exchange, brokerage, or trading platform. We do not trade gold on behalf of users or third parties.
No investment advice: we do not provide gold investment advice or manage portfolios.
How rewards reach you
Partner venues pay Gold Points a commission for bringing them new customers. Gold Points rewards are funded out of that commission and credited to your Gold Points account when you show your member code at the venue. Every 1,000 points can be redeemed for a physical 1 gram gold bar, delivered to you. For the full breakdown, see How it works.
Points are loyalty rewards
Gold Points are loyalty rewards, not currency. They cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be redeemed for physical gold under the redemption terms.
Reward rates can change
Gold Points sets the reward rate for each venue. Rates, eligibility, and availability can change at any time, sometimes without notice. We do our best to keep listings up to date, but please check the venue’s page for the current offer before relying on it.
Gold price changes
The market price of gold can rise and fall. The redemption rate of 1,000 points for a 1 gram gold bar is fixed by Gold Points, but the value of that gold in your local currency may change over time.
No tax advice
Receiving gold may have tax implications in your country. We do not provide tax advice. Please speak with a qualified tax professional about your specific situation.
Responsibility
Partner venues are responsible for the goods, services, and experience they provide. Any dispute about a purchase or a bill is between you and the venue. If your points fail to arrive or a gold delivery has an issue, contact us at support@goldpoints.app. That part is on us.
Regulatory position (Bahrain)
Based on guidance from the Central Bank of Bahrain, loyalty programs are not considered regulated financial activities. Accordingly, Gold Points does not require a license for this model. This position applies to operations in Bahrain; users elsewhere should consider their local rules where relevant.
