Question 1

What is Gold Points?

Accepted Answer

Gold Points is a curated Bahrain directory of places that pay you back in Gold Points, across restaurants, electronics stores, gyms and VR arenas. Browse by category, pick a place, pay as you normally would, and a percentage of your bill comes back to you as Gold Points. Redeem 1,000 points for a real 1 gram gold bar.

Question 2

How do I earn Gold Points at a listed place?

Accepted Answer

Pay your bill as usual. After payment, the venue shows a digital QR code on its device. You scan that QR with your Gold Points account, and your points arrive within seconds.

Question 3

Is there any extra cost or fee for me?

Accepted Answer

No. You pay the bill exactly as you normally would. There are no surcharges, no membership fees, and no hidden costs. Rewards are funded out of the commission partner venues pay Gold Points for bringing them new customers.

Question 4

How much can I get back?

Accepted Answer

It varies by venue and category. Listed places offer between 2% and 15% back in Gold Points. The exact percentage is shown on every card and listing page so there are no surprises.

Question 5

Can I use any payment method to pay the bill?

Accepted Answer

Most listed venues accept the usual options: card or cash. If a venue requires a specific payment method to qualify for a reward, it is clearly noted on its page.

Question 6

How do I redeem my points for gold?

Accepted Answer

Every 1,000 Gold Points can be redeemed for a real, physical 1 gram gold bar, delivered to you. Collect points at partner venues and request a redemption from your account once you reach 1,000.

Question 7

Do I get anything for signing up?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every new member receives 100 bonus points when they create a free account.

Question 8

Where is Gold Points available?

Accepted Answer

Bahrain only for now, across restaurants, electronics stores, gyms and VR arenas. The directory is updated as new partners join.

Question 9

Is my personal data shared with the venue?

Accepted Answer

No personal data is shared beyond what is needed to claim your reward. We do not sell your data, and the venue only sees that a customer redeemed an offer, not who you are.

Question 10

Who's responsible if my reward doesn't arrive?

Accepted Answer

Contact us at support@goldpoints.app and we will sort it out. Reward delivery is on Gold Points. Questions about the product, service, or bill go to the venue directly.

Question 11

Are Gold Points an investment?

Accepted Answer

No. Gold Points are loyalty rewards that can be redeemed for physical gold. We do not offer investment advice, trading or portfolio management, and nothing on this site should be taken as financial, legal, or tax advice.

Question 12

Do you require a license?

Accepted Answer

No. Based on guidance from the Central Bank of Bahrain, loyalty programs like Gold Points are not considered regulated financial activities.
